I have one

Scored big at the yard tonight—dug a war-era bot outta a pile of junk. Just a beat-up frame, six feet of dented steel, standard arms, optics fried. Was half-buried under a rusted chassis, like someone tossed it to rot. Serial’s scraped clean, no markings—shady as hell, but that’s my kind of haul.

Cracked it open in the shed—core’s still humming, wires tangled like a rat’s nest. Smells like old grease and burnt circuits. Hooked a battery to it, and the damn thing twitched—jerked an arm, nearly dropped my wrench. Ain’t dead yet. Logs are locked up tight—encrypted, probably some war-grade stuff. Gotta dig into that.

Wondering what this tin man’s got—Great War data, frontline runs, maybe some old commands locked in there. Could be a goldmine if I crack it, or at least a good story. Grabbing my tools tomorrow to see what it’s hiding. Bots like this don’t just get dumped—someone wanted it gone.

Will follow up soon with more, stay tuned.

“Sweet haul! Check the memory boards—war bots used to stash combat data. Good luck, man.”
